10 Things I Avoid

The dark cloud of depression is still eating my brain, so this is going to be short and to the point.

  1. Fandom drama.
  2. Political discourse with people who clearly have no grasp of reality.
  3. Nuts. (I have a crown.)
  4. Beauty magazines.
  5. Clowns, spiders, and heights.
  6. George Clooney’s Batman.
  7. Most phone calls. (Anxiety.)
  8. Wearing jeans at home.
  9. Small talk.
  10. Awkward situations.

  1. […] sure to check out the other bloggers’ posts to see what they avoid. Jess, Kellie, Deelylah, Torrance, Paige, Gwen, and […]

  2. I would like to avoid awkward situations, but I feel they’re pretty much my only medium…

Also, I snorted my tea at #6.

    1. I love Clooney, don’t get me wrong. Michael Clayton is still one of my fave films. But he was NOT Batman. At. All.

  3. OMG! I thought I was the only who avoided phone calls. My family think I just don’t care, but the truth is . . . Well I think you know the truth too. Thank you. I don’t feel so alone.

    1. I only speak on the phone to one of my best friends or I speak to my family when I have to. But yeah, I just don’t like the phone. I don’t like small talk and my social anxiety jut does not enjoy it. I even hate having to call the dentist or doctor to reschedule something. And do NOT ask me to order food over the phone lol.

  4. […] Jess || Bronwyn || Kellie || Deelylah || Torrance […]

  5. LOL at “Wearing jeans at home” 100% agreed! And yeah phone calls…There are a handful of people I don’t dread calling/talking on the phone with, and those calls will last HOURS but in general phone calls are definitely avoided.

    1. LEGGINGS, BABY! 😉

  6. […] Bronwyn Green | Deelylah Mullen | Gwendolyn Cease Kellie St. James | Kris Norris | Torrance Sené […]

  7. I was pleased to see Clowns and spiders made a list! And I didn’t like clooney as Batman either… just, no. I did like Christian Bale… very much.

  8. Let’s hear it for no jeans at home!! As soon as I walk in the door I instantly change into my yoga pants . . . that I ever do yoga in. And yep on the phone. Other than the few people I love lots then I can talk and talk, but normally phone is a no go.

  9. I’m with Norris on Christian Bale’s Batman and agree wholeheartedly about the no-go on Clooney’s. Hubs has this thing when he gets home from work–he goes to ‘pants off’, meaning he gets out of his slacks or jeans and into pajama pants or shorts. I, however, tend to never get out of my pajama pants or leggings. Great list!
